Edward Bratten Odom

Edward Bratten Odom, 76 of Readyville died Sat., March 27, 2010 at his home. A native of Cannon Co., his parents were the late John W. amd Bertie Henderson Odom.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Derrick Hartley officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nannie Rachel Rogers Odom of Kittrell; Children, Savannah "Van" (Jim) Pollard, Jeff (Sarah) Odom, Barbie (Darryl) Ingle & Shirley (Johnny) Radford all of Kittrell, Timmy "Bo" (Cindy) Odom and Samantha Osborne both of Murfreesboro; Siblings, Ronnie Odom of Woodbury, Paul Odom and Eva Odom Green both of Murfreesboro and John Odom, Jr. of Ponco, OK.; 11 grandchildren, Chris & Jennifer Pollard, Eric & Travis Krueger, Whitney Ingle, Jerri Lynn Radford, Alan, Amanda & Ashley Odom, Brad & Rachel Odom; 5 great grandchildren, Austin & Mackenzie Pollard, Jackson Metzler, Dominic Krueger and Alysa Goins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Sisters, Dorothy (Ernest) Reynolds, Joseph Rudolph (Janice) Odom, Sister-in-law, Lorene Rogers Odom.

Mr. Odom was Ret. from Comer Construction.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
