Two local principals represented Cannon County at the annual Educational LEADership conference held recently in Nashville.
Leaders and Administrators from across the state assembled for three days to attend sessions about different topics related to instructional leadership, as well as to update educators on the progression of “Race To the Top."
Karen King, principal of East Side School and Robert Sain, principal of West Side School were selected to present “More Lessons Learned-10 things I didn’t know about being a Principal.”
This session was presented to new or aspiring administrators and focused on developing school climate, using data to drive instruction, utilizing school finances, motivating your faculty and ten things you might not know about being a principal.
This is the second year the principals have been selected to present at this statewide event.
