Cannon County voters continue to go to the polls in record numbers.

“Early voting is a flexible and convenient option for many voters,” said Administrator of Elections Dorinda Mankin.  “It is my hope that voters will continue to take advantage of this opportunity over the next two weeks.”

Early voting will continue through Thursday, Nov. 1.  Voters with questions regarding the locations and hours of early voting are encouraged to contact the Cannon County Election Commission at 563-5650 or our website at cannoncountyelection.org for more information.

Tennessee voters again showed up in huge numbers Thursday as early voting continued for the November 6 election. With all 95 counties reporting, more than 100,000 voters statewide cast ballots for the second day in a row, bringing the overall total to 228,245 voters over the first two days of the early voting period.

“Tennessee voters clearly want their voices to be heard in this election,” said Secretary of State Tre Hargett. “I am grateful to the county election officials who have worked hard to prepare for this large turnout.”
