DUI, reckless endangerment heard in General Sessions
Staff udge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included: Sunshine Marshel Brew pled guilty to reckless endangerment. She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 5 days, equal time on probation, paying a $525 fine and the costs. Blake Burton agreed to the violation of probation. He was ordered to serve 30 days and his probation was extended 47 days. In another case Burton pled guilty to theft under $500. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 30 days, equal time on probation, paying $300 restitution and the costs. Melissa Paulett Scott pled guilty to 2 counts of DUI. In each count she was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. Those sentences were partially suspended upon serving 45 days, equal time on probation, paying a $600 fine and the costs. Michael Shane Thomas agreed to the violation of probation. He was ordered to serve 20 days and his probation was extended 11 months 29 days. In another case Thomas pled guilty to theft. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying restitution and the costs. Kimberly Warren agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve 45 days and her probation was extended 9 months 23 days. In another case Warren's judicial diversion was terminated and she was found guilty to possession of a schedule II drug. She was sentence to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 81 days, equal time on probation, paying a $750 fine and the costs. Wiley Thomas agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months 29 days.

Woodbury Police Drug possession Melissa Marie Combs was charged was charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for June 10. Driving on a Suspended License Jerry Gunter was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for June 10. Public Intoxication Daryl Nichols was charged with public intoxication by Patrolman T. Stoetzel. A hearing is set for July 15. Drug Possession Gregory Smith was charged with simple possession of two grams of Methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and DUI by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. rA hearing is set for June 10.
