DUI, drugs, theft arrests reported

Drug Arrest
Don Alan Brown was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Short Mountain Highway. A court date is set for May 5 in General Sessions Court. Brown's bond was set at $5,000.
Brown was a passenger in a white Cadillac car driven by Jeannie White which was pulled over after crossing the center yellow line several times. An odor of marijuana was detected by officers and Brown admitted to possession of a small quantity of pot.
Discovered in the floor board of the car was a Ruger .45 in a zipped bag. A 9mm Hi-Point was found in the back seat and a Taurus .38 special was discovered in the trunk.
The handguns were seized by officers pending a hearing.


Domestic Violence
James Thomas Nichols was charged with domestic violence on a child under 18.

Burglary
A PlayStation 4 with several games, a Mac Book Pro, a 42-inch LG plasma TV and a PlayStation 3 were among the items stolen during a break-in on Hollis Creek Road.

Thefts
Two chain saws, an electric pressure washer, two window air conditioners, air impact wrench and a large red tool box were reported stolen from Collen Burlison's home.

A Cub Cadet lawn tractor, valued at $3,000, a Craftsman chainsaw and a Coleman generator were stolen from a home on Wilmouth Creek Road.

Stolen Car
A 1999 Honda Civic, owned by Israel Baez, was reported stolen on April 1 only to be discovered a short distance down McMinnville Highway. The car was recovered and turned over to Baez.


Woodbury Police DEPARTMENT

Aggravated Criminal Trespass
Timothy Allen Pridemore was charged with criminal trespassing and evading arrest at Stage Road Manor Apartments by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for April 14 in General Sessions Court.

DUI
George Wesley Parliman Jr. was charged with DUI following a traffic stop by Patrolman Jimmie Hayes, A hearing is set for April 14 in General Sessions Court.

Public Intoxication
Nathan Davis was charged with public intoxication by Patrolman Melanie McCormick. A hearing is set for April 14 in General Sessions Court.

Simple Possession
Elizabeth Brooler Adamson was charged with simple possession of marijuana following a traffic stop by Patrolman Tommy Miller. A hearing is set for May 12 in General Sessions Court.


Driving on Suspended
Sandra Lee Gilley was charged with driving on a suspended license by Chief Kevin Mooneyham. A hearing is set for May 12 in General Sessions Court.


Misuse of 911
Allyson Nichole Speice was charged with misuse of 911 after three calls were made to the number by her child. Making the arrest was Patrolman Tommy Miller. A hearing is set for May 12 in General Sessions Court.
