Drug cases, VOP in court
Tuesday, May 28, 2013 10:42 am urt on Tuesday. Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included: Richard Russell Brandt agreed to two violations of probation. In the first violation he was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months 29 days, in his second violation his probation was extended 11 months 29 days. In another case Brandt pled guilty to domestic assault. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs. In another case Brandt pled guilty to attempted possession of contraband in a penal institution. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs. Ricky Allen Leach, Jr. agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 8 days and his probation was extended 8 months 21 days. Ashley H. Morgan agreed to the violation of her probation. Her probation was extended 11 months 29 days. Morgan's judicial diversion was terminated and she entered a guilty plea to possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs. In another case Morgan pled guilty to possession of a schedule II drug. She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, 75 hours of community service, paying a $1000.00 fine and the costs. Donna J. Campbell's charges of excessive pseudoephedrine purchases, manufacture of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling, and drug paraphernalia were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury. Tabitha Lea Smith agreed to the violation of her probation. Her probation was extended 11 months 29 days. In another case Smith pled guilty to not sending a child to school. Michael John Edwards's charge of theft of property was bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury. Jimmy Dean Robinson agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 45 days and his probation was extended 10 months. Michael Eugene House's charge of failure to register as a sex offender was bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury. Donald Wayne Smith pled guilty to 3 counts of DUI 3rd offense. In each count he was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail, ordered to pay an $1100.00 fine and the costs and to lose his license for 6 years. In another case Smith pled guilty to domestic assault. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. Jeffery Randall Shelton's charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling, and possession of drug paraphernalia were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury. Anan Bruce Tramel pled guilty to hunting turkey over bait. He was fined $100.00, ordered to pay the costs and his hunting privileges were suspended for one year. Kimberly Dawn Warren agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve 21 days and her probation was extended 11 months 8 days. April Dawn Walker's charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule II drug, maintaining a dwelling, manufacture of methamphetamine, and reckless endangerment were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury. Paul Emerson Walker's charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling, possession of a schedule II drug and reckless endangerment were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Three suspects were arrested by the Woodbury Police on initation to manufacture methamphetamine charges by Patrolman John House. Charged were Richard L. Sloan, Ashley D. Golden and Timothy L. Conaster. Hearings are set for June 25 in General Sessions Court. Christopher Andrew Turley faces multiple charges in connection with the theft of $675. He was charged with theft over $500, assault with injury and robbery. A hearing is set for June 13 in General Sessions Court. Brittney M. Lott faces multiple drug-related charges following her arrest by Patrolman John House. She was charged with possession of drug paraphernailia, DUI first offense, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver or sell, and promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine.. A hearing is set for July 13 in General Sessions Court. Christina Marie Rose was charged with DUI. A hearing is set for July 13 in General Sessions Court. Cannon County Sheriff’s Department A burglary was reported on Northcutt Road. When the homeowner returned home he noticed his back door was kicked open. Some medication and a Ruger 9mm handgun were taken. A home on Main Street in Gassaway was burglarized by forcing the back door open with a crowbar. Three coffee cans containing coins were taken and the home was ramsacked. A storage building on McMinnville Highway was vandalised while the owner was inside the building working. Two male suspects were seen running from the property towards Eastside Market. John D. Nunley was arrested for Worthless Check.
