Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday.  Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:

Cory Ferrell pled guilty to simple possession.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $750 fine and the costs.

Joshua Brandon Graham pled guilty to simple possession.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  In another case Graham pled guilty to vandalism under $500.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.

Dustin Cody Hirzel pled guilty to simple possession. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended, upon serving 34 days, equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and the costs.  In another case Hirzel pled guilty to vandalism under $500.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 34 days, equal time on probation, paying $600 restitution and the costs.  In another case Hirzel pled guilty to driving on a suspended license.  He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 34 days, equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Jade Hobbs pled guilty to attempted accessory after the fact.  Hobbs was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Emily Kate Kelsey pled guilty to vandalism over $500.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 34 days, equal time on probation, paying restitution and the costs.  In another case Kelsey pled guilty to simple possession. She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 34 days, equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and paying the costs.  

David William Lavender pled guilty to domestic assault.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 12 days, equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Shawn Andrew Pomeroy pled guilty under judicial diversion to possession of a schedule I drug.  He was placed on probation for 11 months 29 days and ordered to pay a $750 fine and the costs.  In another case Pomeroy pled guilty under judicial diversion to possession of a schedule I drug.  He was placed on probation for 11 months 29 days and ordered to pay a $750 fine and the costs.  In another case Pomeroy pled guilty under judicial diversion to possession of marijuana.  He was placed on probation for 11 months 29 days and ordered to pay a $250 fine and the costs.

Brent Pewitt agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months 29 days.

Daniel Ray Rainey agreed to the violation of his probation.  He was ordered to serve his original sentence of 11 months 29 days.

Clayton D. Richards pled guilty to possession of marijuana.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and the costs.  In another case Richards pled guilty to criminal trespass.  He was sentenced to 30 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Benito Melendez Rodriguez pled guilty to possession of marijuana.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $250 fine and the costs.

Misty Reed pled guilty to theft.  She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Clarification

The Lisa D. Patterson charged with Public Intoxication in the October 9 issue of the Cannon Courier is not the same Lisa C. Patterson, co-owner of Patterson’s Handyman Service.
