A drug raid by the Cannon County Sheriff's Department resulted in the confiscation of 21 marijuana plants.

Evidence will be presented to the Cannon County Grand Jury for possible indictments.

"The tallest plant was 11-feet-7 which was one of the tallest I've ever seen," said Investigator Brandon Gullett.

"We've been investigating the grow for at least a month in the Short Mountain area. Finally Monday we got eyes on the plants and we were able to get a search warrant," Gullett said.

The grow had plants both indoors and outside. The plants were confiscated and transported to the Cannon County Jail for destruction.
