PrintDorothy Lena Mooneyham, 82, of Woodbury passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012. A native of Saginaw, MI., she was the daughter of the late George & Lena Rochla Thamm. She was married to Lonnie Mayne Mooneyham whom she wed on November 2, 1951.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 with Rev. Carl Wenck officiating. Interment will follow in the Prater Cemetery. Pallbearers include Steve, Matt, & Roger Clendenin, Adam Shoemake, Cain Hollandsworth, Nate Heisey. Visitation with the family will be Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 from 4 pm until 8 pm.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Alan Brown of Maitland, FL., Jan Clendenin and Shirley Maxwell both of Mt. Juliet, Debbie Lawson of Rock Island, Sandra Hollandsworth and Vicky Shoemake both of McMinnville, Brenda Wood of Irvine, TX., Gale Bryan of Light House Point, FL. and Don Bryan of Woodbury.
A member of Grace Lutheran Church, she was a graduate of Saginaw General Hospital Nursing Program where she served as President of her class. Her first job was an RN at the State of Michigan Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI. where she met her husband, Lonnie Mayne Mooneyham. She was an OR/RN at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and worked as an RN at Middle Tennessee Medical Center before she retired.
