Three persons were charged recently with domestic assault following separate incidents.

• Kathy K. Ray, 576 Jimtown Road, Woodbury, was charged with domestic assault on July 18 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Sgt. Lawrence Avera. Ray allegedly pushed down the victim during an argument. The victim sustained a large contusion to her left hip and scrapes on her left palm and arm during the fall. The victim has to use a walker to help her walk. Bond was set at $3,000. Initial court date is Aug. 2.

• Dara A. Dillard, 3084 K Parker Rd., Bradyville, was charged with domestic assault on July 16 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Rodney Nichols. Dillard allegedly hit the victim about the face, leaving marks. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is Aug. 23.

• Carl Alfred McClure, Lakewood Park #118, Resca Run, Beechgrove, was charged with aggravated domestic assault on July 13 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House following an incident at 526 McFerrin St. in Woodbury. McClure allegedly hit the purported victim with a 2x4 piece of lumber. Initial court date is Sept. 20.
