Becky Shelton, originally a Texas gal who grew up around some "rusty crusty characters", is a self-taught imaginative artist who loves to combine a variety of materials in her creations. She saves newspapers, magazines, and found objects, and somehow incorporates them into her montage of layers and paint until it speaks to her as being complete.

For the Blues Brothers show, Becky was inspired by Mississippi Delta Blues Singers, the Fathers of Blues. She will present several interpretations of Black Folk Art for the display.

Becky and husband Larry have three grown children and grandchildren. The Sheltons moved to Tullahoma in 2000 for Larry's job with Goodrich Landing Gear. Becky has worked in a variety of locations in the area: Josten's, Antique Arts and Collectibles Mall, The Fly, Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, and now works from her studio at Cokers on Wilson Avenue, Tullahoma.

Her mixed media art has been shown at Fast Jack's, Normandy River Café, Miller Grocery, Art Barn, Celtic Cup, TFAC, Cokers, and more.
