Delores Carol Melton Morris, 61, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at her home in Auburntown.

A member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and a native of Cannon Co., Delores was retired from the State of Tennessee where she worked in the Dept. of Children and Human Services.

Survivors:

Son and Daughter-in-law: Sam and Jennifer Morris of Woodbury.

Grandchildren: Dalton and Emily Morris of Woodbury.

2 Sisters: Patsy Reeder of Watertown and Katherine Saddler of Auburntown.

2 Sisters-in-law: Rachel Melton of Auburntown and Irma Melton of Woodbury.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley Grey and Leona Bell Melton and her brothers, John and Bobby Don Melton.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 with Bro. Jeff Cripps officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3 and Wednesday until time of  services.
