The courtroom at the Cannon County Courthouse figures to be a very busy place Tuesday.

In addition to the regular Tuesday sessions of Cannon County General Sessions and Juvenile courts, two county government meetings are also scheduled as the Planning Commission is set to meet at 6 p.m. and the County Commission at 7.

That means Judge Susan Melton and Assistant District Attorney General Trevor Lynch will be under the extra pressure of keeping cases moving swiftly throughout the day, while still protecting the constitutional rights of the defendants.

Those persons scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Tuesday, and the charges they face, are as follows:

• Samer W. Abdalla, driving on a suspended license.

• Andrew Scott Asbury, driving on a revoked license.

• Larry Ricky Blair, Jr., public intoxication, violation of probation 1st offense.

• Michael Richard Blake, DUI.

• Brandon Michael Brown, worthless check.

• Eric M. Burton, domestic assault.

• Tiffany Ann Carpenter, driving on a suspended license 3rd offense, violation of probation 2nd offense.

• Jimmy Wayne Chapman, aggravated assault (two counts).

• Glenn Allen Climer II, criminal trespass, aggravated child endangerment, resisting arrest.

• Randall Ewing Council, theft over $500 (two counts), theft under $500.

• Dustin Tyler Culver, DUI 2nd offense, simple possession of Schedule VI drug, possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Erica Danielle Cunningham, violation of probation (two counts).

• Cassandra L. Deaton, worthless check.

• Dara A. Dillard, domestic assault.

• Samuel Charles Dollar, speeding (68/55), violations of the driver’s license, registration, insurance and seatbelt laws.

• Timothy Eugene Ellis, failure to appear (driving without a license charge).

• Cory Wade Foster, theft over $500.

• Robert Blake Foster, worthless check.

• Charles Jerrel Freeman, aggravated assault (show cause hearing).

• Tanya Gaithewr, worthless check (three counts).
