Deese Arrested On Sealed Indictment

Brandi Lynn Deese, 27, 110 Bryson Court, Woodbury, turned herself in at the Cannon County Jail on  Monday, July 26.

A sealed indictment was returned against Deese  by the May term of the Grand Jury on charges of Sale of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Vehicle for the Purpose of Sale of Narcotics, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Sale of Narcotics. Bond was set at $40,000 by Circuit Judge David Bragg.

Deese will be arraigned on the charges Circuit Judge Don Ash on Friday, August 20.

Investigators for the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department concluded a nine month drug operation on Friday, May 14 when nine cases were presented to the Grand Jury.

Presenting the cases to the Grand Jury as sealed indictments was Investigator Charlie Wilder, who along with Investigator Vance Walker, conducted the drug operation.

Seven defendants have been picked up on those indictments with two remaining unserved according to the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department.
