Dean Lowell Lewis

Dean Lowell Lewis, age 75, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Lewis was born on Sept. 1, 1939 in Cannon County, TN to the late Stanley Haskell and Jane Todd Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a member of Grace Baptist Church and an Army and National Guard veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joe (JD) Lewis, and a sister Janet Lewis Prater.

Survivors include daughters, Melanie Lewis Bowen (Kyle) of Unionville, TN, Vicki Lewis (Chris Gibson) of Chattanooga, TN, sister Dalphia Lewis Parsley (Joe) of Fayetteville, grandchildren, Maggie Brown, Luke Bowen, Azalea Lewis Gibson and loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and celebration of life will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. At Evergreen Cemetery.

Special thanks to 7 Tower South nursing staff at Centennial Medical Center. Mr. Lewis was an advocate for veterans and youth, loving spirit towards all, and he liked fitness, meditation and health.
