David Floyd Gilleon

Mr. David Floyd Gilleon, 62, of Woodbury died April 29, 2016. He was born on October 30, 1953 in Orlando, FL. His parents were the late John Bert Gilleon and Dorothy (Tindell) Gilleon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda R. Gilleon, sister, Nora Ann Gilleon and his step-father, George Stahl.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon & Chris Sizemore of Woodbury; three grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew and Michael Sizemore; brothers, Johnny (Ruby) Gilleon, Wayne Gilleon both of Florida and Daniel Gilleon of NC.

Mr. Gilleon was born in Orlando. His family moved and he grew up in Ocala, Florida. He met and married his wife, Linda in Florida. They later moved to Woodbury. He worked for Samsonite for about 30 years. He earned a certificate with the Tennessee Technology Center and ITT Tech to work on computers. Then he worked in tech support for Dell computers for about 12 years. He enjoyed playing on the computer as a hobby as well. He loved spending time with his grandsons and daughter.

Graveside Services will be conducted by Smith Funeral Home at Cherry Cemetery on May 3, 2016 at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to assist with funeral expenses.
