David Eugene Reed, age 58, died Sunday July 13 following an sudden illness.  He was a member of the Prosperity Baptist Church, a farmer & owner of David Reed Bush Hogging. 

   David is survived by his wife, Lisa Smith Reed of Auburntown;  Son, Brandon (Dwinna) Reed of Auburntown;  2 step sons, Zachary and Alex Davenport of Murfreesboro;  2 grandsons, Memphis and Maddox Reed of Auburntown;  parents,  Eugene & Christine Hill Reed of Milton;  2 brothers, Phillip (Terry) Reed of Milton and Joe (Cherrie Lynn) Reed of Auburntown;  sister, Angie Deberry of Murfreesboro; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ted and Cathy Smith of Centertown.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. 

   Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday July 16 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.  Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM Tuesday.   

    Pallbearers will be Tim Dutton, Ernie Brown, Marty Williams, Mark Duggin, John Francis, Matthew, Jeremy and Ethan Reed. 

   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
