Dale McClain Jernigan

Dale McClain Jernigan, 79, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Woodbury Health Care. He was a native of Cannon Co., Tn.

He is survived by his son: Gary (Lynn) Jernigan of Murfreesboro; 3 step daughters: Virginia (Mark) Pritchett of Estill Springs, Gloria Annette January of Beech Grove and Angela (Greg) Davis of Dayton; Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton J. & Elsie Swanger Jernigan; his daughter, Sharon Jernigan Sims and his brothers, Byrl Jernigan and Marlin Jernigan.

Mr. Jernigan was retired from TVA as a Heavy Equipment Manager.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Sunday, June 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchellofficiating. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 pm Sat., June 18, 2016.
