Statement from Cannon County Director of Schools William Curtis:

For the past two days Cannon County Schools have experienced challenges with TNReady on-line testing. Cannon County Schools chose to test grades 5-8 online along with the required on-line End of Course tests for Cannon County High School. Testing issues began yesterday morning and we suspended testing. After hearing that the issues were cleared around 10:30 a.m. yesterday, one school successfully completed a science test on-line yesterday afternoon.

Today -- Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 -- testing began smoothly but within 30 minutes schools, started reporting issues with student's ability to remain testing online. Tennessee Commissioner of Education, Candace McQueen, sent all Directors of Schools an email reporting that a data attack had been reported with the Questar testing platform. Once again, Directors of Schools received a message that the issue had been cleared and testing could resume. Cannon County Schools has suspended testing today pending further information and instructions.
