Usually I try to write something insightful or information for our Sunday online newspaper.

Nothing really came to mind this week, so I thought it would be a good chance to share some artwork done by someone close to me.

The drawings of the turtle and bird were done by my sister Clare, who lives in Mobile, AL. Clare says she has committed herself to doing one each day in an effort to improve her artistic skills.

Clare also says she inherited her talent from our late mother, which is true.
