Cole Hill to play at Cumberland

Cole Hill has played all offensive line positions, defensive line positions, tight end, fullback, tailback and linebacker for the Cannon County Lions football team. He's even seen some action as a strong safety. Next football season the all region 4-3a first team senior will trade his maroon and gold jersey in and put on the Maroon and White of the NAIA Cumberland Phoenix in Lebanon as he continues his football career signing a scholarship to play football for the University. Hill was one of 14 players new Cumberland head football coach Tim Mathis signed during the first three days of the national signing period. 11 of the 14 were from the state of Tennessee. Hill is looking forward to furthering his career and wants to help his new team as much as he can. The main reason he signed with Cumberland Hill said is he loved the environment during his visit there. Cumberland went 7-4 last season. Front row L-R are Bryan Hill, Cole Hill and Petrina Hill.
