Clara Jeannette McGovern Jackson, 67, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Vanderbilt Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A resident of Bradyville, she was a native of San Bernardino, CA.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Robert S. Jackson of Bradyville; four sons, Harold Dewayne (Bernice) McGovern of Munfordville, KY, Randall Scott (Holly) Jackson of Meriden, MS, Thomas Leonard (Samantha) Jackson of Smyrna and Michael Stuard (Danita) Jackson of Nixa, MO; siblings, Mary Ruth Hill and Margaret Slaybaugh both of OK and Thomas Harold McGovern of FL.; and 9 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Harrow McGovern and Joy Sullivan McGovern and her sister, Nadine Dill.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Clear Fork Methodist Church and was the door greeter at Wal-Mart on South Rutherford in Murfreesboro.

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 with Bro. Bobby C. Martin and Bro. Tommy Davis officiating.

Visitation will be from 2 – 4 pm Sunday, March 27, 2011.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Educational expenses for their granddaughter, Michelle Rene Jackson.
