City, County deal with drug violations

Deputy Tonya Holland was traveling north on Hollow Springs Road when she observed a small Toyota truck which had veered off the road. Deputy Tommy Barker arrived for backup and the officers questioned the Toyota's driver, identified as Larry Vann Davis.
Davis told the officers he had swerved to miss a dog in the road and had run into the ditch. Deputy Barker asked Davis for his drivers license and he responded that he didn't have one. A check with dispatch revealed Davis's license was revoked. Deputy Barker then approached the passenger's side of the Toyota where Destiny Thompson was located. The deputy spotted a burnt tablespoon in the floor board.
Deputy Holland then searched Thompson and discovered a baggie containing nine needles. She was subsequently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A hearing is set for July 5 in General Sessions Court.
Jeremy Scott Vann, 23, of McMinnville, was arrested on multiple charges after he was apprehended in the parking lot of Bluewing Market with an escaped female juvenile from Memphis who was attempting to set up a methamphetamine drug deal.
The female juvenile, in question, was 14 years old.
Vann was charged with solicitation to commit statutory rape, solicitation to manufacture/sell or delivery Schedule II drugs, possession of Schedule II drugs (meth) in a school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a revoked license.
The juvenile was turned over to the Department of Children Services.
Sheriff Darrell Young searched Vann discovering a short fixed blade knife and a long filet knife stuck inside his boots. A BB pistol was discovered under his car seat along with black zipper case which contained a pipe, a lighter, Q-Tip and a small bag of a crystal substance.
A hearing was set for August 2 in General Sessions Court.
James Logan Taylor and Alecia Kay Shorey were arrested and charged with distributing/selling marijuana. The couple were apprehended in the parking lot behind McDonalds by Investigators Brandon Gullett and Chris Brown.
Reid Colby Hartley, 19, of Readyville, was charged with possession of marijuana, oxycodone and Alprazolam. He was also charged with a violation of probation warrant.
Blake Dean Burton, 25, was charged with burglary, breaking and entering and larceny following the theft of items from a storage unit owned by his parents. Among the items taken were seven guns, three guitars and an Epson home projection system. A hearing is set for July 12 in General Sessions Court.
Stacey Glenn Bogle, 34, of Murfreesboro was charged with burglary, breaking and entering, destruction of property and drug equipment violations. A hearing is set for July 5 in General Sessions Court.
Tammy Lynn Murphy was charged with DUI, first offense, by Patrolman Tommy Miller. A hearing is set for September 13 in General Sessions Court.
Randy David Vinson was charged with DUI, first offense, by Patrolman Jimmy Hayes. A hearing is set for July 12 in General Sessions Court.
