Woodbury's annual Christmas Open House,  scheduled for Friday and Saturday Nov. 22 and 23, will happen as usual despite the fire that destroyed two businesses on the Square.

"The fire that destroyed two buildings on the Square is so unfortunate, however, we were lucky the entire street didn't  burn and no
one was injured.  We need to show support for our businesses and make this the biggest and best Christmas Open House yet," said Carolyn Motley of the Chamber of Commerce.

"Santa will arrive on the Square at 5 p.m. on Friday. Flyers will be available at participating Merchants, read the Cannon Courier and listen to WBRY radio for details. If you have any questions or want to be a part of this event contact the Chamber of Commerce at 563-2222 or Jennings Jewelers at 563-2421," Motley said.
