Christmas events continue
Staff Woodbury's season of festivities continues Saturday, Dec. 7 with the Lions Club's annual Day of Christmas. That's followed by the annual Christmas Parade which starts at noon and winds up on the Woodbury Square. Seven homes from across Cannon County are included in this year's tour and are listed in alphabetical order: 1. Junior Brandon's home, 1309 Burt Burgen Road. All stops have a Lion's Club sign at the location. Maps are available at the Lions Club Building. For those of you wanting to celebrate Christmas "My Way," the Sinatra Holiday Musical revue of "Christmas, My Way," opens Friday, Dec. 6 and runs through Dec. 21 at The Arts Center. The music of "Old Blue Eyes," Frank Sinatra, will be performed by Todd Turney, Tiffany Sweeley, Scott Willis and Chloe Madigan. The concert features 40 pop and holiday songs made famous by the "Chairman of the Board," including special arrangements of hits like "Mistletoe & Holly,” “Christmas Song" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas." Ticket prices are $30 and dinner plus the show is included in the price. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. Table seatings will be assigned in order of paid reservations.
