A benefit chili supper and silent auction is set 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 15 for Shane “Buck” Davis at Woodbury Grammar School.

Shane, a 20-year-old, 2012 Cannon County High School graduate, was left unable to walk due to injuries received in a Jan. 20 car accident. He is still undergoing treatment at Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Once released, he will be traveling back to Nashville for physical therapy almost daily. His therapy will continue 18 months to up to 2 years due to his injuries.

Shane’s back was broken at the L1 disk with extensive spinal cord injuries. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.

The benefit chili supper will feature chili, taco soup, hot dogs, strawberry shortcake, hot fudge cake, drinks and more.

A womanless beauty pageant will start at 6:30 p.m. The silent auction is for 4 to 7 p.m. with a cake walk starting at 4 p.m. until all cakes are won.
