Cheer, Voice And Open Mic Night Return To Cannon Arts Dance Studio

Ballet teacher Darla Toker instructs young ballet dancers in classical ballet training Tuesdays at Cannon Arts Dance Studio.
There is so much good stuff happening at the studio I don’t know where to begin, so lets start with some exciting additions to our schedule beginning in October:

Sheree Fann will once again coach WGS cheerleading, Mondays at 5 beginning October 25.

Our vocal program is back by popular demand. Mitch Scheuermann  will be offering group vocal training Wednesdays at 4 p.m.. beginning  Oct. 27th. Mitch is currently appearing in the Arts Center’s Blue Sky Boys if you want to catch him in action.

Back by popular demand, Cannon Arts dance will host an open mic night on Saturday, November 7th at 7 p.m. Bring your tunes, instruments and poetry to try out in front of a live audience. $1.00 cover charge for all guests. Time limit is 5 minutes per act; age appropriate material only.

I can’t forget our annual field trip to TPAC in Nashville to see the Tennessee version of The Nutcracker on Saturday December 11 at 2 p.m. This year promises to be really special, because we will be sitting right up front!

Last but not least, it’s not too late to sign up for the fall dance season but time is running out if you wish to participate in the second annual recital, True Colors,  to be held at the Arts Center of Cannon County in January.

All of our classes are taught by seasoned professionals whether the class is tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, ballroom, cheer, voice, contemporary or clogging.

If you have any questions on any of our activities please call 615 563-9122 or cannarts@hughes.net.
