Funeral services for Charlie W. Campbell, 67, will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 3, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Campbell died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Woodbury Nursing Center following an extended illness.

A native of Murray County, Tenn., he was a member of the Woodbury Church of Christ and was retired from AVCO where he worked for over 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Ada Ferrell Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Garnette Merriman Campbell of Woodbury; two sons, Clay Campbell of McMinnville and Hugh (Stephanie) Campbell of Murfreesboro; a daughter, Priscilla (Eric) Taylor of Woodbury; grandchildren, Payton Campbell, Erika and Lela Taylor, Emily (Chad) Robinette and Caleb Jones; a brother, Dison (Jane) Campbell of Fern Creek, KY and two sisters, Hazel Melton and Dorothy (Jimmy D.) Reed of Woodbury.

Family members will serve as active pallbearers.
