Charlie Luther Mooneyham, 79, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at Stones River Hospital Emergency Room following a sudden illness.

A native of Huntsville, AL., he was a resident of Woodbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Herbert and Annie Bell Simmons Mooneyham; a son, Steve Mooneyham; brothers, Donald, Bobby and Jimmy; and great grandson, Chase Bell.

Survivors include:

His wife of 57 years, Racine Thomas Mooneyham of Woodbury.

Daughter: Debra (Mitch) Davis of Woodbury.

Grandson: Tim (Diane) Bell of Woodbury.

Great Grandsons:  Bryson & Nolan Bell of Woodbury.

Sister: Micki Vinson of Woodbury

Mr. Mooneyham was a retired Tech Sgt. with the United States Air Force where he served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. A retired Chief Cook at Alvin C. York Medical Center, he was a member of the Sunny Hills Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 with  Bro. John Jones and Bro. Richard Haley officiating.

Burial will be in  Prater Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 14, 2010 from  12 noon until 9 p.m.

For those wishing to do so, donations may be made to the Prater Cemetery Trust Fund.
