Charles Evans Todd, Jr

Charles Evans Todd, Jr., was born March 3, 1918 near Woodbury, Cannon County, Tennessee and died December 29, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 97. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Evans Todd, Sr. and Anna Louise Douglas, and by a daughter Sandra Elaine (Todd) Corey. He is survived by his wife Patricia, to whom he was married in Hawaii on April 27, 1940. They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary in April 2015. He is also survived by one daughter Terry (Todd) Ferl of St. Louis, Missouri, grandsons Matt, Mike and Jeff Corey and four great-grandchildren.

Charles was retired from military service in the U.S. Army, having served in both World War II and the Korean War. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at a later date. Burial will follow in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
