Charges range from domestic assault to theft



Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday.  Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:

Richard Brandt entered a Nolo Contendere plea to domestic assault.  He was found guilty and sentenced to 11 months 29 days on probation.  In another case Brandt agreed to the violation of his probation.  His probation was extended 10 months 2 days.

Donna J. Campbell's charge of excessive pseudoephedrine purchases was retired for 11 months 29 days.

Samantha Lynn Childs' charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was retired for 11 months 29 days.


Terry W. Doney's charge of underage consumption of alcohol was retired.

Charles Randell Hancock, Jr. pled guilty to driving while license revoked.  He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.

Jared Purnell Davis pled guilty under judicial diversion to assault.  He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days on probation and ordered to pay the costs.

Anna Cheri Kinser pled guilty to driving without a license.  She was sentenced to 30 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $2.00 fine and the costs.

Lauren Lee's charge of possession of schedule VI drugs was retired for 11 months 29 days.

Joseph Edward Pillow pled guilty to violation of the move over law.  He was sentenced to 30 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $100.00 fine and the costs.

Kenneth Sharber pled guilty to driving without a license.  He was sentenced to 30 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $2.00 fine and the costs.

Joshua Kevin Vickers charge of theft was retired for 11 months 29 days.  He was ordered to pay $70.00 in restitution.

Sarah Renee Grizzle pled guilty to theft.  She was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail.  That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.
