A person has been charged in relation to a fire earlier this week at Crane Interiors on Alexander Dr.

Dustin Lee Reed, 2061 Bradyville Rd., Readyville, faces one count of reckless burning, a Class A misdemeanor.

According to the arrest warrant, Reed allegedly "committed the offense of reckless burning in that on April 11, 2011 he did dispose of a lit cigarette behind Crane Interiors. It is believed that this lit cigarette which was in an area known by Dustin Reed to be a non-smoking area resulted in a fire which burned an out building and property."

Woodbury Police Chief Tony Burnett filed the charge against Reed on April 12.

Bond was set at $500. Initial court date is May 17.

According to a Crane Interiors official, Reed walked off the job following the incident and has not returned. He is no longer considered as being employed there.
