Center Hill accident under investigation

CROSSVILLE --- Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) along with the DeKalb and Putnam County rescue squads and the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for a missing person at the Hurricane Marina off of highway 56 on Center Hill Lake around 9:30 a.m. this morning.

Thirty-five year old, Aimee McCray of Davidson County was reported missing after a friend's search of the area turned up empty. McCray reportedly spent the previous evening on a houseboat but could not be found this morning. The DeKalb County rescue squad discovered McCray's body in the water near the boat dock around 3:20 p.m. Putnam County rescue squad recovered the body. The accident is still under investigation.
