Celebrate the holidays with Fall Creek Falls State Park at the annual Christmas on the Mountain Celebration, which opened Friday, Dec. 5 and going through Sunday, Dec. 7, at the park's Inn and conference center.

In addition to a number of activities for all ages, the three-day celebration will feature storytelling, visits from Santa and handmade crafts. The Inn will be adorned with holiday decorations. Visitors can make plans for a special breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Inn's restaurant on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Adding to the holiday spirit, Santa and Mrs. Claus will make appearances on Friday and Saturday, bringing gifts to the little ones.
Storytelling and craft making will be offered Saturday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Also on Saturday, the Friends of Fall Creek Falls will host a silent auction from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. On Sunday, the Friends of Fall Creek Falls will conduct their annual board meeting in the Rhinehart Suite at 2 p.m. Visitors are invited to stop by and get more information on how to become involved with the friends group.

To make this event even more special, the Fall Creek Falls Inn is offering the "Christmas on the Mountain Package," a great deal for the weekend. The package includes two nights (based on double occupancy) lodging, along with breakfast for two on Saturday and Sunday for $140.20 (price including tax). The Fall Creek Falls Restaurant will serve a seafood buffet on Friday night and a chicken buffet on Saturday night.
Fall Creek Falls State Park features waterfalls, cascades, streams, gorges, timberland and a variety of recreation facilities and activities.
