CCHS Hoop Fans May Face Wicked Weather Friday
Cannon County High basketball fans planning on traveling to Jamestown for Friday night's games against York Institute may face difficult driving conditions.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for for northeast middle Tennessee and the north end
of the Cumberland Plateau, calling for 1 to 3 inch snow amounts, which is in effect from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST Friday.

Snow showers are also predicted for Cannon County on Friday.

The games against York Institute mark the first of three road trips for the Lionettes and Lions against District 8-AA foes. They are scheduled to travel to Livingston Academy on Tuesday and then rival DeKalb County on Jan. 14. They will returned home for a Jan. 17 make-up date with Upperman.
