Cathy Aslene Moss Smithson

Cathy Aslene Moss Smithson, age 64, of Woodbury, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Stones River Hospital. She was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (Chad) Hayes of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Christopher & Joseph Wilder of Maryville, Lindsey & Andy Jordan of Bradyville, & Cody Hayes of Woodbury; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Dykota-Lynn Wilder of Maryville, Peyton Wilder & Preslynn Jordan of Bradyville; Sisters-in-law, Carolyn, Christine, Jeanette, & Linda Moss, all of Woodbury. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Smithson; parents, Thelma & Sam Bernal; father, Youree Moss; brothers, Don, Gene, Jimmy, Roy, & Charles Moss.

Ms. Smithson was a member of the Baptist church and was a CNA Nurse.

Funeral services will be 4 PM Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 9 PM Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the funeral home.
