Carroll Wayne Mingle

Carroll Wayne Mingle, age 74, of Woodbury passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Nashville. He was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Rahma M. Mingle of Woodbury; Mother, Christine Bryson Mingle of Woodbury; Children, Michael (Sherry) Mingle of Lompoc, CA, Tammy (Jeff) Myers of Kenwick, WA, Gregory Mingle of Santa Barbara, CA, and Khadija S. Mingle of Woodbury; Siblings, Wendell (Rita) Mingle of Murfreesboro, Virginia Rogers & Brenda Hawk, both of Woodbury. 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Mingle.

Mr. Mingle attended Smith Grove Church of Christ and was a member of the Woodbury Masonic Lodge. He retired with 28 years of service as a Master Sgt. with the United States Marine Corp where he served in Vietnam. After retirement, he worked at Alvin C. York Medical Center for 8 years.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, December 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
