Carl O. Underwood

Carl O. Underwood,  84, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas following an extended illness.

Mr. Underwood was a resident of Bradyville and a Cannon County native.

A member of Simmons Chapel Free Methodist Church, Mr. Underwood was a retired firefighter and was retired from U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in Michigan.

Survivors include his wife, Twila Bush Underwood of Bradyville; children, David (Zoraida) Underwood of Coral Springs, FL. Debra Sarno of Cold Water, MI, Daryl (Deb) Underwood of Jennison, MI, Danny (Sandi) Owen of McMinnville, Dale (Gayle) Owen of LaVergne and  Sheryl (Tony) Crouch of Centertown; and two brothers, Clyde (Jean) Underwood of New Port Richey, FL and Delano (Gloria) Underwood of White Hall, MI.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Dovie Gilley Underwood and his wife, Camilla Underwood.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011 with Bro. Al Buckta and Bro. Scott Clark
Interment: Gilley Hill Cemetery     

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Owen, Bobby Dillion, Andy Hollis, Jason Sarno, Josh Underwood and Jeremy Underwood.
