Carl Dwight Poss, age 68, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at St. Thomas West. A native of Cannon Co., Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Poss & Ruby Kirby Poss; and a brother, Earl Poss.

He is survived by his wife Emma Ervin Poss of McMinnville; 2 Daughters, Lisa (Steve) Stone of Crossville & Kimberly Bouldin of McMinnville; 6 Grandchildren, Bobby, Ashley, Dustin, Laura, Krissy, & Justin; 3 Great Grandchildren, Bryson, Rylee, & Chloe; Brother, Don (Lynda) Poss of Smithville; Sister, Elena Wimbush of Macon, GA; 2 Nephews, Gregory Poss of Nashville & Jeffery Poss of Nashville; 1 Niece, Christina Williams of Forsyth, GA.

Mr. Poss was a logger.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Sadler officiating. Interment will follow at the Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM to 9 PM Saturday, November 15, 2014.
