Two were seriously injured when a Honda Accord left Eugene Reed Road and slammed into the side of a house.

Trooper Jason McGee identified the injured as Michael Davis and Carter Underwood.

Davis, the driver, was transported by helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Passenger Underwood was transported by ambulance to Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.

The Honda left the road and slid sideways some 200 feet before slamming into the side of a home owned by Mike Bray. The crash broke a power pole at Bray's home knocking out the power to his home and his gun shop located behind it.

The car was totaled and significant damage was done to  Bray's home.

A bedroom wall was punctured by the collision, which knocked a dresser completely around, Bray said.

The concrete block foundation was heavily damaged from one end of the house to the opposite.

Davis was traveling south on Eugene Reed when the Honda left the road.

Charges are pending, McGee said.
