Cannon County Crime Report for 10-28-2009



Following are the latest arrest and incident reports as recorded by the Woodbury Police Department and the Cannon County Sheriff's Department:

Cannon County Sheriff's Office Incident Reports for 10/28/2009

10/6/2009 — A warrant was served on Brittany Lynn Ross for Contraband in a Penal Institution.

10/21/2009 — Joyce Coe reported three rifles stolen from her Bryson Street home in Auburntown eight days earlier. Investigation is likely stifled by the late report.

10/21/2009 — A warrant was served without incident on Francisco Suastegui Arellano for Failure to Appear.

10/21/2009 — James Penner reported a break in and burglary of his home on Hurricane Creek Road. Among the items stolen is a 2001 Honda Rancher four-wheeler.

10/22/2009 — Marlin Prater was arrested peacefully for violation of probation.

10/23/2009 — Terika Diana Faux reported Justin Todd seeming under the influence of narcotics and eventually becoming irate, destroying the front door screen and door frame in a attempt to get back in his house after being locked out.

10/23/2009 — An unidentified white male roughly six feet tall broke into the Porch residence on K. Parker Road. He assaulted one resident but ran outside after being hit with a vase. The resident reported encountering a prowler a few days before on the property.

10/24/2009 — Pauline Smotherman called the Sheriff's office because her two boys were drunk and fighting. She said this happens every weekend when the brothers drink together. No charges were pressed.

10/24/2009 — A 911 disconnect led an officer to investigate the Smotherman residence again. A domestic assault had occurred against Pauline Smotherman by her son Randall, who was intoxicated. He was charged with domestic assault and processed.

10/25/2009 — Jeff Wemberly reported a break-in to the shed on his 1632 Center Hill property. A four wheeler was moved from the shed but not taken off the property.

10/25/2009 — Scott Duke ran into David Parker's fence due to an incapacitating medical condition. Mr. Parker agreed to let Duke repair the fence without charge, but Duke was cited for for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance. Mr. Duke was not intoxicated.

10/26/2009 — Two warrants served without incident on Christina J. Kelley for Failure to Appear and the other was a capias.

10/26/2009 — Matthew Jones's Chevy Colorado truck was stolen from his Claude Gaither home.

10/26/2009 — Tracy Young reported someone throwing eggs at cars near the Quick Stop Market. His vehicle was damaged by the vandalism.

10/26/2009 — A warrant was served without incident on Forrest Lee Reeder for Tampering With Evidence and Conspiracy to Tamper with Evidence.

10/27/2009 — Warrants for Failure to Appear and Capias were served on Justin Nicholas Roper without incident.

10/27/2009 — Allen Ellis reported that someone threw a rock through the glass window of his Midway Red Barn shop. Earlier that day someone in a red van had stolen his CCHS football signs but he does not know if the incidents are related.

Woodbury Police Incident Reports for 10/28/2009

10/21/2009 — Serenity L. Moore was cited for driving with a suspended license and lacking proof of insurance.

10/23/2009 — Lenwood Ferrell reported that his dealer tag had been stolen.Mr Ferrell suspected the tag stolen by a truck full of juveniles who had been tailgating him. Officers located the truck but a consented search did not turn up the stolen tags.

10/24/2009 — Isaac Charles Markum Jr. reported that his vehicle was vandalized. The plug wires had all been yanked from the distributor. Mr Markum guessed that the person responsible was Tyler Green.

10/26/2009 — Ray Smitty reported an aluminum distributor stolen from his business, Smitty's Tires. There were plenty of other valuables that remained unbothered. The busting mall used to break in the door is also missing.

10/28/2009 — April Burnett reported one of her boxer puppies missing, assumed stolen, from her S. McCrary St. home.
