It's Family Movie Night Saturday, Sept. 27 at Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church Pavilion.
"Heaven is for Real" will be shown. People will gather at 7 p.m. with the movie to begin at 7:30 p.m.
The church will have activities going on for small children during the movie as well. There will be hot dogs, popcorn and refreshments available. Guests are asked to bring a two-liter drink along with blankets or chairs to gather in the outdoor theater to view this great Christian movie.

Noises Off
The Arts Center of Cannon Co.

Noises Off is a play within a play. It is about an ambitious director and his troupe of mediocre actors. The cast and crew are putting together a silly comedy titled, Nothing On - a farce in which lovers frollic, doors slam, clothes are tossed away, and embarrassing hi-jinks ensue. Noises Off is presented in honor of longtime patrons Chuck & Adella Harter.
Show dates and times are Sept. 26, 27, Oct. 3 & 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 28 at 2:00 PM.

Color of Fall Car Show
Saturday, Sept. 27
Topping the show season is the Color of Fall Car Show. Beginning at 8 a.m. the show is set for the Square in Woodbury.
It's hard to believe its time to start thinking about the holidays and especially Christmas. Ever year in conjunction with the Cruise-In and Jennings Jewelry Antiques and More collects toys for the Childs Advocacy Agency in Woodbury. All of the toys go to children in the Woodbury area.
Antiques and More has a basket ready at the shop if anyone has a new, unopened toy they may want to donate. Just drop it by now til Oct. 11.

The next big event coming to the Short Mountain Trading Post is the Spooktacular Fest and Fall Flea Market. It is scheduled for Oct. 11 on Saturday from 10 to 5. All our vendors will be dressed in costumes and offering free candies and snacks to our young trick or treaters. kinda like a trunk or treat event, but even more fun!! Make sure you come dressed in costume and win the prize in different categories (to be announced). Enter the pie eating contest. Take a ride on the mule wagon to and from the Distillery.

Rogers Reunion Planned for Saturday, October 11
The 34th annual Clem & Margaret-Wilson Rogers reunion will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Lions Club Building in Woodbury. The day will get started at 11:00 a.m. Bring a favorite covered dish or two and join us for a day of family celebration. The covered dish lunch will be held at noon. Please arrive prior to that time to get registered and counted for our "Most Family Present" award. We will also be having our usual awards and games. Please bring a prize to be given away in the "Bingo" games.
