Candace Gayle Dodd

Candace Gayle Dodd, 29, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at her home following a short illness.

A native of DeKalb County, she made her home in Woodbury and attended the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Services will be in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home Sunday, May 16, 2010, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Weldon Parkinson officiating. Burial will be in Sycamore Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Landon Goodwin, and her grandfathers, Kenneth Dodd and Walter Goodwin.

Survivors include her mother, Connie Dodd Ashford of Woodbury; her grandmothers, Loretta Dodd of Woodbury and Louise Goodwin of Liberty; a brother, Cory Chapman of Nashville; a sister, Rachel Goodwin of Smith; special niece, Morgan Hale of Woodbury; aunts and uncles, Rosa Nokes of Liberty, Paulette and Steve Osment of Woodbury, Kendall and Mark Duggin of Auburntown, and Kathy Ellis of Liberty.
