Camia Dawn Tate Hayes, 44, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Vanderbilt Hospital following a sudden illness. She was a native of Rutherford Co.

She is survived by her husband of Adam Hayes, Daughter, Kaylee Dawn Hayes, Parents, Jimmy & Brenda Higgins Tate, Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Bob & Betty Hayes; Grandmother, Loni Mai Tate; Brother-in-law, Alan Hayes; Niece, Jacqueline Hayes Davenport all of Woodbury; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive

Camia was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert France Higgins, Georgia Lee Higgins and Malcolm Tate.

She was a member of the Woodbury Church of Christ and a Special Education teaching Assistant at Woodbury Grammar School where she was also the Assistant basketball coach for the Lady Cubs. Camia was an avid Kentucky Wildcats Basketball fan and a lifetime member of the Cannon Co. Rescue Squad.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home withBro. Herb Alsup and Bro. Daniel Hayes. Interment will follow in the Ivy Bluff Cemetery, Warren Co. Visitation Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 3:00 am to 9:00 pm and Friday, September 30, 2016 from 11 am until the time of service. Pallbearers include Bradley Mullinax, Shannon & Danny Higgins, Michael Underhill, Ian Frazee and Adam Hayes. Honorary Pallbearers will beWGS Basketball teams and cheerleaders. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the WGS Basketball Program, Ivy Bluff Cemetery or the Cannon Co. Rescue Squad.
