Callie Beaurena Elkins, age 90, passed away April 13, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include her children, Judy Elkins, Mark (Pat) Elkins, Sherry (Phil) Thomas, Johnny Elkins (Kim Duggin), Beverly (Robert) Pitts, & Myla Jordan, all of Woodbury; Sister, Christine Gannon of Woodbury; 12 grandchildren, Tammy Bragg, Tracey Womack, Tanya (Jason) Whited, Chris Thomas, Chad Thomas, Chase Thomas (Tabitha Gunter), Holly (Dale) Rogers, Bridget (Jeremy) Simmons, Cindy Pitts, Kayla (Jamie) Gage, Korey Jordan, & Kerry Jordan.

Also survivng are 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and many nieces & nephews.

Mrs. Elkins was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson & Bertha Youngblood St. John; her husband, Richard Elkins; son, Wayne Elkins; and 12 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was one of 16 children. She was a member of Iconium Church of Christ and retired from Woodbury Nursing Center as a nurses aide. She was also employed by Colonial Corporation.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Pelham & Bro. Dale Woods officiating. Interment will follow at Leoni Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 9 PM Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
