Buddy Todd was born January 14, 1926 in the Burt Community to Lawton and Mary (Thomas) Todd. He grew there on the family farm, attended grade school, was a graduate of Woodbury Central High School and attended State Teachers College. He was a member of the Church of Christ, had served as an Elder at the Bethlehem Church of Christ and was a devoted husband.

He married Ann Ward in 1948, was a farmer, a service manager of Alexander Chevorlet and a partner in Woodbury Builder Supply.

Mr. Todd died Tuesday, April 13, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann Todd of Woodbury; two sons, Steve Todd of Woodbury, Bruce & Cindi Todd of Murfreesboro; six grandsons, Stephen & Amber Todd of Wrangell, Alaska, Dr. Jeff & Paula Todd of Woodbury, Rob Todd of Murfreesboro, John & Whitney Todd of Stevenville, Montana, Jay Todd of Murfreesboro and Reed Todd of Murfreesboro. He has five great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Thomas Edward Todd and James Ross Todd. Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 3-8 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in the Smith Funeral Home chapel Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11 AM. Herb Alsup will officiate and interment will be in Riverside Garden. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
