Mr. Buddy Robert Bain, Sr., 49, of Smithville died March 16, 2013. He was born on December 24, 1963 in Murfreesboro, TN. His parents were the late Buddy Bill Bain and Gertie (Stanley) Bain. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Bain and sisters, Effie Ashford and Virginia Davis. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bain of Smithville; sons, Buddy, Jr. and Jennifer Bain of Bradyville, Dustin Bain of Tullahoma; step-son, Justin & Kayla Mummel of Smyrna and Joey & Kristen Bratcher of Nashville; daughters, Mallory & Peter Krajian, Michelle Bain both of Broken Arrow, OK; brothers, Jimmy & Teresa Bain of Smyrna, Hoyte Bain of Christiana, Jay & Bell Bain of Murfreesboro; sisters, Joann Lambert of Gladeville, Becky & Ronnie Johnson of LaVergne and Wilma Cathey of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

Mr. Bain was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. He was self employed and liked doing all kinds of work. Working with his hands made him happy. He loved to go fishing.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 3-8 PM. Funeral services will be in the Smith Funeral Home chapel on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2 PM. Kenneth Hale will officiate. Interment will follow in Hale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to assist with funeral expenses. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
