BRAA Announces Chuck Taylor Golf Tournament Date

MURFREEESBORO - The Blue Raider Athletic Association has announced the annual Chuck Taylor Golf Tournament presented by Franklin American Mortgage will be played at Indian Hills on Friday, Oct. 23.

This year's event will be a four-person scramble with prizes awarded for team winners in several flights, an individual skill contest on the course, and door prizes.

Each entry into the tournament will receive lunch, a player gift, free beverages on the course and chances for prizes on holes in one on par 3 holes. Each participant will also receive a ticket to the participant dinner on Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Middle Tennessee State University Foundation House at Miller Coliseum. The participant dinner will include dinner, beverages, and a silent auction.

The entry fee is $150 or $600 per team with a limit of 36 teams. The tournament committee is also seeking hole sponsors for $125 each.

Registration for the tournament is slated to begin at 10:45 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled for 12 p.m.

When sending in an entry, please include the names and addresses of each player in the foursome along with your entry fee. Also make checks payable to BRAA.
