Mrs. Bonita Esther "Nita" Summers, 47, of Manchester died November 23, 2010 after an extended illness. She was born April 20, 1963 in Syracuse, NY. She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Moore.

Survivors include her husband, John Summers of Manchester; son, Jesse Cheek of Manchester; daughter, Julia Summers of Manchester; father & mother-in-law, Russell & Marie Summers of Morrison; sister-in-law, Melissa Little of Florida; special friend, Kay Innes of North Carolina and devoted attendant, Megan Rhea of Northcutt Cove, TN.

Mrs. Summers was a member of the Smith Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting & working on the computer. She loved spending time with her family and studying the Bible.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2010 from 1-8 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 10 AM in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Tom Holland & Jerry Finney will officiate. Interment will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery in Warren County.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation or the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
