Billie Frances Young

Billie Frances Young, age 86, of Murfreesboro passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Rutherford Co.

Survivors include her children, Billy Ray Young, Belinda (Charles, Jr.) Crabtree, & Regina (Wayne) Key, all of Murfreesboro; Siblings, Hermine (Dale) Saul of Virginia & Doyle (Faye) Brown of Murfreesboro. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Ashford and Nonnie Mae Hale Brown; Husband, Raymond Young, Jr.; and Brother and Sister-in-law, Don & Barbara Brown.

Ms. Young was a member of the Bellwood Baptist Church and was a housewife and a loving mother. She spent her time volunteering at the daycare at Bellwood Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Coleman Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 Friday, February 3, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expense or to the charity of your choice, in Billie Frances Young's name.
